Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our orders, sizing, shipping and garment care.



 

1. Orders

 

Q: Do I need an account to place an order?

No, you can check out as a guest. However, we recommend creating an account to easily view your order history and manage your details.


Q: Can I edit or cancel my order after placing it?

We start processing orders quickly, but we may be able to help if you contact us within a short window after checkout.

Please email info@egomaduekwe.com with your order number and “Order Change” in the subject line.

Q: I didn’t receive an order confirmation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or promotions folder first. If it’s not there, contact us at info@egomaduekwe.com and we’ll resend your confirmation.

 

 

 

2. Payments

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

 

We accept major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and other secure payment options available at checkout.

Q: Is it safe to use my card on your website?

Yes. EgoMaduekwe.com is hosted on Shopify and uses secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your full card details.


3. Shipping & Delivery

 

 

Q: Do you ship internationally?

 

Yes, we ship worldwide. Available destinations and rates will be shown at checkout.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

Shipping fees depend on your location and the weight of your order. The exact cost will be calculated at checkout before payment.

Q: How long will my order take to arrive?

  • UK orders: Delivered within 3–5 business days after dispatch.
  • International orders: Delivered within 7–15 business days depending on destination and customs clearance.

Q: Will I be charged customs or import duties?

International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties or local taxes once your shipment reaches its destination. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping fees.

 

4. Returns & Exchanges

Q: What is your return policy?

We hope you love your purchase. If not, eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition — unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached.

Q: What is your refund method?

We offer store credit only on approved returns. Once your return is received and inspected, your store credit will be issued via email and can be used toward any future purchase.

Q: Are any items non-returnable?

Yes. For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items (such as earrings or final sale pieces) cannot be returned. Custom or made-to-measure pieces may also be non-returnable. Any exceptions will be clearly stated on the product page.

Q: How do I start a return?

Please email info@egomaduekwe.com with your order number and the item(s) you’d like to return. Our team will confirm eligibility and provide next steps.

 

5. Size & Fit

Q: How do I know which size to choose?

You can view our Size Guide on each product page and on our dedicated Size Guide page.

Our pieces are true to size at the shoulders and bust, with a slightly generous fit through the hips for ease and movement.


Q: What if I’m between sizes?

If you’re between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a more relaxed fit — especially for tailored styles. For wrap dresses and kaftans, both sizes may work depending on how you prefer them to drape.


Q: Can you help me choose my size?

Yes. Email info@egomaduekwe.com with your bust, waist and hip measurements, and the style you’re considering — we’ll be happy to advise.

 

6. Products & Care

Q: Where are your pieces made?

Our garments are designed in Lagos and produced in collaboration with skilled artisans and specialist partners. Each piece reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, heritage and longevity.

Q: How should I care for my garment?

Care instructions are listed on each product page and garment label.

In general, we recommend:

  • Gentle hand wash or professional dry clean for delicate fabrics
  • Avoid harsh detergents and bleach
  • Store on wide or padded hangers to maintain shape

Q: Will you restock sold-out items?

Many ADA pieces are produced in limited quantities. Some core styles may be restocked, while others are designed as collectible, small-batch pieces and may not return. You can sign up for back-in-stock notifications on the product page.

 

7. Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order

Q: What is a pre-order item?

A pre-order item is one that can be reserved before it’s available. The estimated dispatch date is stated on each product page.


Q: When will my pre-order ship?

Pre-order styles ship on or close to the date indicated on the product page.

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order pieces, they may ship together or separately depending on availability.

 

8. Custom & Special Requests

Q: Do you offer custom sizing or alterations?

We can accommodate limited custom adjustments on select pieces, depending on the style and fabric availability. Please email info@egomaduekwe.com with your request.

Q: Can I request a different colour or length?

For certain silhouettes, yes. If a particular piece is available in alternate colours or lengths, we’ll be happy to advise on custom options.
